From the Research Lab: FEAR NO COLOR: The Ethics of Stealing - Online Lecture by Berlin Architects Ester Bruzkus and Peter Greenberg

Architects Ester Bruzkus and Peter Greenberg of Ester Bruzkus Architekten (Berlin) join us for a special lecture featuring new trends in interior design. The firm is at the forefront of interior design, bringing a fresh, innovative approach to the field. In the lecture, they present their sources of inspiration and demonstrate how it can be applied. The two maintain that nothing is original, discussing how to distill diverse influences into something authentic and relevant. They will present projects that bridge historical periods and create contemporary compositions inspired by various individuals, including David Hockney, Cate Blanchett, Andy Warhol, Le Corbusier, Mark Rothko, William Morris, Yves Klein, Frederick II, Pablo Picasso, Jim Jarmusch, Mies van der Rohe, Astrid Ericsson, Carlo Scarpa, Giorgio de Chirico, and Casper David Friedrich.

The Liebling Haus’ Research Lab, a collaboration with the Conservation Department of the Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality, is dedicated to the research of urban space and promotes urban, historical, and cultural studies. Our premise is that Tel Aviv-Jaffa, like any city, is more than the total sum of its buildings - it is a diverse ensemble of interacting elements and communities.
