From the Research Lab: Graft Lab Berlin — New Trends in Housing and Thoughts of Urbanism of the Future

Sharon Golan-Yaron, content director of the Liebling Haus, invites Lars Krückeberg, founding partner of GRAFT, for a conversation about the firm’s latest projects, including WAVE Waterside Living Berlin which was awarded the best residential building in the world and Eckwerk Holzmarkt - winner of the 2015 MIPIM/AR Future Project Awards for Mixed-use Projects, some call it the ‘Oscars of the Real Estate Industry’!

In addition to cutting edge architecture, GRAFT also explores the future of urbanization. Their book FUTOPOLIS is a study of key trends in urban and rural future development; As Urban hubs, our political, economic and creative centers, are gradually becoming 21st-century states. What consequences does this have for urban development, administration and infrastructure? And, how do the needs of society change?
