From the Research Lab: Placemaking - from Rotterdam to Tel Aviv

In the last year, since the global Corona pandemic outbreak, we have witnessed the emergence of a more complex relationship between people and urban space. Various creative solutions transform cities, offering better accessibility for pedestrians, expanding outdoor seating, and making it easier for local businesses to host guests outside the premises. Architect Ehud Nadel (Nadel Roizin Architects) and urban planner Lior Steinberg (Humankind | Agency For Urban Change, Rotterdam) present their approach to Tactical Urbanism and Placemaking, innovative tools that promote the creative use of public space, creating a happier, more diverse, and engaging experience for residents and visitors.
