An open studio for boys and girls who want to create and think on their own. The studio offers tools to experience developing ideas and working with design, art, and architecture techniques. The work in the studio is personal and supported by the artist Roni Raviv.
The studio at the Liebling Haus is designed for boys and girls for whom creation is a tool through which they explore, learn, and experience the world. Unlike classes constructed around a joint learning framework focused on specific knowledge and techniques, the studio offers an open space for individual work. Participants create at their own pace using their preferred tools and materials, supported by professional instructors. The studio allows us to express our interests and wishes while expanding our knowledge and understanding of what we can do and how. The pedagogy applied in the studio focuses on thought processes driven by making and self-interest: while performing complex or straightforward actions, thought processes crystallize, the ability to understand deepens, and we are open to thinking, studying on our own, and achieving our ideas. The tools utilized in the studio were developed by the training team of the School of the City, active designers, artists, and architects engaged in developing learning and thinking methods.
