Around the City

From Bialik to the Sea

Take a tour of the Bialik compound, the old hub of Tel Aviv, where Liebling House is situated. Tracing the area’s history from its origins in pre-state Israel to the present, learn how to tell apart different architectural styles and find out about the hotly-debated issues in contemporary urban planning. Take the tour at your own pace, and listen to stories about Tel Aviv that you wouldn’t hear anywhere else. The tour was written by city planner Shira Levi-Binyamini, Liebling Haus’s director, and architect Sharon Golan Yaron, the content manager for the White City Center, who have worked with the Center since its foundation.
