From the Research Lab: a Conversation About Heritage and Development

How can we measure the intangible properties of space? How do they affect and shape the urban environment? Stella Fox uses the Space Syntax method to examine the relationship between the built environment and our behavior within it. In a conversation with architect Sharon Golan-Yaron, the two will discuss the management of Historic Urban Landscape (HUL) and the relationship between conservation and development. Stella is a Ph.D. candidate at the Bartlett University School of Architecture at UCL, funded by the Space Syntax Lab.
