Transferumbau: Liebling
Saturday, 21.9, 11:00
The opening exhibition of The Liebling Haus focuses on the Transfer Agreements, a controversial episode in the history of Zionism. These political agreements established economic relations between the Nazi regime in Germany and the Zionist movement, allowing tens of thousands of German Jews to emigrate to Palestine in the 1930s. The exhibition is a collaborative project by artists Ilit Azoulay, Jonathan Touitou, Lou Moriah, and Nir Shauloff. Curator: Hila Cohen-Schneiderman
