Launching the Liebling Haus Urban Research Lab
Saturday 21.9, 17:00
Free admission based on availability
The Urban Research Lab of The Liebling Haus – White City Center explores the urban sphere in its broadest sense, promoting studies of urbanism, history, and culture focused on modern architecture and its influences. At the opening event, architect Dr. Jeremie Hoffmann, Director of the Conservation Department of the Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality, will present ten groundbreaking studies conducted in collaboration with the Lab. His lecture, Open Cities, asks whether contemporary technologies alter the way we read the city, and how can we protect our bodies in the city; are there any eclectic buildings in Tel Aviv; do we have scientific evidence of Patrick Geddes’ genius; were all city planners in Tel Aviv Ashkenazy, and more.
