Art, design, and architecture workshop – original exercises of the Bauhaus School and multidisciplinary activities inspired by it

 

The School of the City at the Liebling Haus invites you to participate in Bauhaus Original: experiment with form, color, and material in a series of original exercises of the Bauhaus School and multidisciplinary activities inspired by it.

 

100 years after its foundation, the Bauhaus School continues to inspire the development of learning and thinking methods. Bauhaus architects, designers, and artists invented a new design language in the spirit of modernism, studied together, and experimented with artistic disciplines: painting, sculpture, weaving, costume design, wood and metalwork, dance, theatre, and more.

 

The project was developed in collaboration with Bauhaus Agents Berlin-Dessau-Weimar for the Original Bauhaus exhibition at the Berlinische Galerie, and the publication of Original Bauhaus Workbook, featuring original Bauhaus exercises.
