Home Tour with artists in residence Anat Litwin and Sally Krysztal
We are delighted to invite you to a tour and conversation with artists in residence Anat Litwin and Sally Krystal, the first guests of HaDira - the Residency Program of the Liebling Haus. In a discussion with the residency program curator Sabrina Cegla, they will present the Urban Artistic Hosting Platform (UAHP), their creative process and share their experience of staying in the Scheuer family’s former apartment on the third floor.
Urban Artistic Hosting Platform (UAHP) is focused on critical practices of creative hosting in the city and redefining art and artists’ role in reshaping urbanism. As part of their work, they develop a glossary and toolbox and examine the relationship between private and public space and between the home and the city when the former becomes a cultural anchor and a new public space in an evolving urban reality.
Anat Litwin is an artist and researcher who has been developing artistic hospitality practices for over a decade as the founder of the Homebase Project and UAHP. She is a Ph.D. candidate in the Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and a fellow of the Ariane de Rothschild Women Doctoral Program. Sally Krysztal is a multidisciplinary artist, inspired by traditional crafts and local knowledge, body, movement, and performance. Her work evolves within the tension between presence and absence.
Program Curator: Arch. Sabrina Cegla
