Join us for an eventful evening on the rooftop, featuring performance, lecture, and discussions with Hadas Ophrat, Dr. Meirav Aharon-Gutman, Matan Israeli, Prof. Gideon Kunda, and Angie Robles. The lineup: Map – Urban Liquid Drawing, performance by Hila Flashkes and Kineret Haya Max’ cooperative studio; “We thought they would make art, not politics,” a short lecture by urban sociological Dr. Meirav Aharon-Gutman; Anthropologist Prof. Gideon Kunda and social activist Angie Robles discuss the Levinsky Garden Library for foreign communities in Tel Aviv and the boundaries of Israeli society; Matan Israeli of Muslala talks about the role of the artist as an urban healer; Hadas Ophrat explores whether art can drive change and artistic activism as a developmental tool. Moderator: Shira Levy-Benyemini, town planner and director of the Liebling Haus. The Fifth Space project redefines our private-public rooftop as a public area, hosting monthly events focused on connection, belonging, and the relationship with place and culture.
