Urban Journal

After spending five years in New York, Alon Chitayat returns to Tel Aviv, looks at the city with new eyes and keeps a visual journal of sorts questioning what it is that makes the city his home. The exhibition is an urban project of some 50 drawings that capture moments in the Tel Aviv public space. Each drawing has a soundtrack consisting of the artist’s internal voice and the exterior sound of the city. A collection of private collective moments.
